Four Houses. One Family.

The Haverstraw Elementary School House System brings students together across grade levels to build character, strengthen relationships, and create a strong sense of belonging. Inspired by the Ron Clark Academy, students are sorted into one of four houses:

  • RÊVEUR — Dreamers
  • AMISTAD — Friendship
  • ISIBINDI — Courage
  • ALTRUISMO — Givers

Throughout the year, students earn points for demonstrating character, teamwork, leadership, and school spirit. From Sorting Week to house challenges and celebrations, students build friendships, embrace their house identity, and create lasting memories together.
