Amistad, Altruismo, Isibindi and Rêveur. Which one will be yours? Fourth grade students at Haverstraw Elementary recently found out which House they’ll belong to for their three years at the school. As part of HES’s PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) system, students are divided into cross-grade-level Houses modeled after the Ron Clark Academy’s House system. Throughout the year, they’ll work together to earn points for positive behavior and academic achievements, with the top-scoring House taking home the win at the end of the school year!
