William Rotella
Physical Education Teacher, HES

A North Rockland graduate from the Class of 2016, William (Billy) Rotella went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican University and his Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Manhattanville University. Before stepping into the classroom as a physical education teacher at Haverstraw Elementary School, he gained experience as a substitute teacher at Farley Elementary School and North Rockland High School. Now, this Red Raider returns to the district as an educator with a goal that hits close to home: giving back to the community that gave him so much. He’s especially excited to create the same kind of memorable experiences for his students that he enjoyed during his own time in North Rockland.
